You have to get a few cycles into the Major Havoc arcade game, blowing up at least two bases, before you get into the space flight portion that introduces the electric force field mazes. If you never got that far, you would have only seen a Galaxian-like shooter stage in the space flight section. This maze is clearly for Major Havoc veterans, as a result.
